The beautiful marble staircase, amazing woodwork, walk-in vaults, the Jane Ward Genealogy Room, the Biggest Little Baseball Museum, and the School of American Music, will provide you with a glimpse of Three Oaks history.

The business was purchased by Ed Drier Sr. in 1913 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in the 1970’s. It is currently operated by third and fourth generations. Step back in time and view the original pictures and artifacts. We will be giving samples of our most popular products during Art Attack weekend.

Hans, also known as “Future Mountains”, is an artist and designer based in Santa Fe, NM, who spent his childhood summers in Sawyer, MI, exploring the creeks, dunes, and woods collecting crinoid fossils and adventures along the way. Hans received an MFA in painting and drawing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007. In 2008, he co-founded Julius Caesar, an independent artist collective and gallery in Chicago, and co-directed it for 6 years. His work is down-to-earth and often playful, blending basic forms and symbols that resemble found fragments of a larger narrative. The Granor Farm Store will also be open.

Collaging textile, Kanter creates sophisticated compositions that critique gender norms, antiquated political beliefs, and environmental concerns. Through the use of a bold narrative, she presents images of fascination, and often unlikely scenarios, bringing forward both humor and nostalgia into her work. Additionally, you are welcome to walk the 13-acre ground that Janis and her family live on. There are 20 sculptures situated throughout the property, from varied sculptors. It is a joy to see the variety of styles and visions each of these artists present. Please note however, that the grounds do get extremely soggy if the weather is inclement, so bring your tromping boots if you plan on strolling the grounds. Look for the Chickens Playing entrance.

Through the use of a bold narrative, she presents images of fascination, and often unlikely scenarios, bringing forward both humor and nostalgia into her work. What was originally a wagon repair shop, the building that houses Drier’s Meat Market was converted to a butcher shop in 1875 by an Englishman named Alec Watson who called it the Union Meat Market. The business was purchased by Ed Drier Sr. in 1913 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in the 1970’s. It is currently operated by third and fourth generations. Step back in time and view the original pictures and artifacts. We will be giving samples of our most popular products during Art Attack weekend.

Meet artist Hans Sundquist in the Granor Farm School House. Hans, also known as “Future Mountains”, is an artist and designer based in Santa Fe, NM, who spent his childhood summers in Sawyer, MI, exploring the creeks, dunes, and woods collecting crinoid fossils and adventures along the way. Hans received an MFA in painting and drawing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007. In 2008, he co-founded Julius Caesar, an independent artist collective and gallery in Chicago, and co-directed it for 6 years. His work is down-to-earth and often playful, blending basic forms and symbols that resemble found fragments of a larger narrative. The Granor Farm Store will also be open.

It is a joy to see the variety of styles and visions each of these artists present.
